In 2025, Civic Community Partners made a $425,000 loan to Wellsprings Community Foundation for predevelopment expenses supporting a planned 60-unit rental housing project in Borrego Springs. The development is also expected to include a new fire station and a planned community health clinic. Wellsprings founder Daniel Wright has said the predevelopment loan brings his family’s vision closer to reality: providing high-quality housing and neighborhood services that allow low-income seniors in Borrego Springs to age in place with dignity.
