In October 2019, Goodwill Industries acquired a 93,350 square foot site with a 16,708 square foot building that had previously been used as a drive-through pharmacy.
The site will now serve as a Goodwill of San Diego Retail Store to generate funding for Goodwill San Diego’s mission of providing training and employment opportunities to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment, and a Community Employment Center serving the underserved in North County San Diego, including veterans, opportunity youth 16 to 25 years, refugees, and those with developmental, mental, physical and learning disabilities.
NMTC funding was used to reimbursement acquisition cost and fund tenant improvements.
