Civic Community Partners provided an $11 million NMTC allocation to Family Health Centers of San Diego, in a transaction closed in October 2023 with US Bank, to finance construction expanding the Diamond Health Center. The project added a new 22,000 square foot clinic and an 86,000 square foot parking structure on a surface lot adjacent to the existing clinic, creating 57 construction jobs and 92 new permanent positions. The clinic serves a patient base that is 95 percent low-income persons or residents of low-income communities.
