Accountant
Hiring Compensation Range – $31.25 – $40.86 (Full Range is Broader)
Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager and general supervision from the Assistant Vice President of Finance and Accounting, the successful candidate will perform various professional accounting duties and maintain computerized books and records for the Corporation through financial statements and year-end audits. The incumbent will perform grant accounting and will assist in the development of budgets, financial statements annual audits and tax returns.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting, finance and budget preparation. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred. Work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates must be able to write clear, concise, comprehensive and effective reports and make effective oral presentations. Candidates must also possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft computer applications.
