Accessory Dwelling unit program

Across the region, housing costs are rising and homeowners need alternative options to find or provide housing. Whether it’s housing for a family member or an opportunity to generate additional income, the concept of building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on an existing homeowner’s property is becoming a reality.
The HOME+ program was created by Civic Community Ventures and Urban Corps of San Diego County to provide homeowners with the tools and expertise necessary to navigate the process of building an ADU.
